Running calculators are useful for both new runners and expert runners.
Simply divide 60 by your pace. When utilizing fractions of an hour in a calculation, convert the fraction to minutes, then multiply the result by 60 minutes to get miles per hour or kilometers per hour. Examples of speed calculations are provided below: 6 miles run in an hour: 6/1 equals 6 mph (mph)
If you completed 3 miles in 30 minutes, your pace was 10 minutes per mile.Simply divide 60 by your pace. When utilizing fractions of an hour in a calculation, convert the fraction to minutes, then multiply the result by 60 minutes to get miles per hour or kilometers per hour. Examples of speed calculations are provided below: 6 miles run in an hour: 6/1 equals 6 mph (mph)
The simplest definition of pace is the speed at which you're moving, and it's frequently described as the length of time it takes you to complete one mile during a longer run.
If your pace is 4 minutes per mile and you ran for 16 minutes: 16 min ÷ 4 min per mi.
Multiply your pace by your distance. If your pace is 6.5 minutes per mile and you ran 2 miles:6.5 min per mi × 2 mi = 13 minutes, 13 seconds.
Divide your running distance by your running time If you ran 4.5 miles and you ran for 10 minutes:4.5 mi ÷ 10 min = 0.45 miles per minute
